Indonesia has high school enrollment, but enrolling and finishing higher education is still a big challenge. Today, only about 10% of Indonesians aged 15+ have completed a university degree, and while 31% of college-age youth are enrolled, many still struggle to continue and graduate.

Seeing this gap, Horizon Education was created with one purpose: to help more young Indonesians not just enter university, but finish it. We do this by building a strong culture of care and using a whole-school approach that supports every student—no matter their starting point.

Through our two universities—Horizon University Indonesia in Karawang and Kalbis University in Jakarta—we work to ensure students can stay on track, graduate, and grow into confident future-ready Global Indonesians.

Horizon Education stands on the strong foundation of a Yayasan Triputra Persada Horizon Education established by Triputra Group and Persada Capital, two of Indonesia’s most respected business groups. As our main industry partners, they bring decades of experience, integrity, and a deep commitment to nation-building—especially in creating opportunities for young Indonesians to improve their lives through education.
