  • S1 Midwifery

    DESCRIPTION
    Bachelor of Midwifery is a discipline that combines science and professional practice to prepare students for comprehensive maternal and child healthcare. The program covers preconception care, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and breastfeeding care, interpregnancy care and family planning, climacteric and menopausal care, newborn and child healthcare, human reproductive health, as well as providing support and guidance to women, families, and communities. Throughout the program, students develop the competencies required of a care provider, including delivering essential midwifery care during pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum, family planning, and the care of healthy newborns and young children.
